The above phenomena take place during the dry season in dry zone in Sri Lanka mainly from July to September. A visitor can observe nearly 100-350 Sri Lankan elephants gathers closer to the water bodies. This event has been reconginze as one of the 10 great wildlife wonders by “Lovely Plant” . These pictures were taken at Kaudulla National Park in August 2024.
