Geoffrey Bawa is one of the most renowned architects of Sri Lanka, famous as “father of tropical modernism”. He blends tropical natural environment in Sri Lanka along with vernacular architecture to his modern designs. His personal estate “Lunuganga” which is located in Bentota is quite special out of his all works. Whenever we travel towards “Galle” from Colombo we never miss visiting “Lunuganga” in Bentota.
