Wilpattu is the oldest and largest National Park in the country which covers nearly 1300 square kilometers.  One of the best places to spot Sri Lanka’s apex predator “Sri Lankan Leopard” & “Sloth Bear”. It becomes a birding hotspot specially during October to April, when the winter migrants join the resident bird population. Best places to explore wildlife is closer to “Villus” , natural depressions that collects rain water and create a natural wetland echo system.
